The Upper Big Blue NRD has many responsibilities as it oversees the quality and quantity of ground water throughout Nebraska.  Below is the Rules & Regulations Book that is organized in eight chapters:

Nebraska's Natural Resources Districts were created by the Nebraska State Legislature with the passage of LB1357 on September 18, 1969.  The Districts formally came into existence and opened their doors on July 1, 1972.
