There will be a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on June 18, 2026 at the Upper Big Blue Natural Resources District Office, 319 E. 25th St., York, NE regarding Rule 5 - Changes to Dryland Reporting Requirements. Staff have proposed language to be added to Rule 5 Chapters 20-24 and Chapter 26 with the intent of removing reporting requirements of dryland tracts and tracts smaller than 25 acres in size in the Phase II and II Groundwater Management Areas and the Hastings Wellhead Protection Groundwater Management Area. A draft of the proposed changes will be made available to the public for review and comment.
