The Upper Big Blue Natural Resources District is seeking a qualified and engaged community member to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors. Individuals who are passionate about natural resources, conservation, and community service are encouraged to apply for the vacant Sub-District 8 position.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a registered voter
• Must reside within Sub-District 8 of the Upper Big Blue Natural Resources District (see maps and description below) 

Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a letter of application addressed to the General Manager. The letter of application shall state, at a minimum, the applicant’s place of residence and the fact that the applicant is a registered voter. Additional information outlining qualifications and interest in the position is encouraged. Application materials must be received at the NRD office no later than July 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. (CDT).

The Board of Directors will review all submissions and may conduct interviews prior to appointment. The appointment will fill the remainder of the current term, ending January 2027, with the opportunity to run for election in the next general election cycle.
