Meeting Location: Upper Big Blue NRD, 319 East 25th Street, York, NE
Local Working Group meetings are held in each of the 23 Natural Resources Districts (NRDs) in conjunction with local Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) staff, conservation partners, and landowners. These meetings provide an opportunity for local farmers and ranchers to inform agency staff about resource concerns, evaluate if current programs are addressing those concerns, and recommend ways to improve such programs. Specifically, input is sought regarding the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) and its effectiveness in assisting producers reach their conservation goals.
All landowners who participate or are interested in NRCS conservation programs are encouraged to attend and join in this important conversation. This is an excellent opportunity to provide your perspective that comes with real world experience.
